How Does GoShoppingCanada.com Work?

GoShoppingCanada.com does not sell direct to the consumer. Instead we are a shopping destination for consumers making it easy to find webstores to make purchases from. When you make a purchase, you are buying directly from the retailer and not through us. We act similar to an offline mall, where we give retailers exposure to the shopping community in a convenient way. The difference is we can be much larger then a offline mall  with a farther reaching marketplace of national and even international businesses and consumers. You will be buying directly from the vendors.

Am I buying from GoShoppingCanada.com?

No, we are an Internet mall fo webstores. All products are purchased from the merchant/vendor you bought an item from.

I have a question about a product before purchasing.

Please contact the web store you are considerig buying from. GoShoppingCanada.com does not answer product questions as we do not offer any products ourselves, other then advertising options to merchants.

I do not see the secure site lock when visiting a store. Is your website secure?

GoShoppingCanada.com is a service where vendors list their website with us so they can be easily found by shoppers. We act similar to an offline mall, where we give retailers exposure to the Canadian shopping community in a convenient way. As such, we do not collect any information from shoppers that require a secured area on our website.

That said, each store or business that is part of our website is responsible for their own SSL security. For e-commerce websites you need to check and make sure that the  lock icon is showing in the browser before buying from them. Shopping At Multiple Websites

Keep in mind that GoShoppingCanada.com is just like an offline mall; you shop at a store, make a purchase, pay for the purchase and then shop at another store if you wish.

There is not one check out process for all purchases you make at each retailer's website. Instead you buy directly from the retailers, and not from GoShoppingCanada.com. We simply act as the mall management and you make purchases from our listed vendors directly.

Shipping Costs

GoShoppingCanada.com does not ship or sell any products from our retailers. Instead you buy directly from the retailer that is listed at our Internet Mall website. In this way, you need to contact the retailer directly, or read their policies and FAQ from their website(s) for any buying information or questions.

What if I have a dispute with a webstore listed at GoShoppingCanada.com?

Please contact the specific store you made the purchase with by following the procedures they may have listed on their website. You can also call them directly. Although GoShoppingCanada.com does not get involved ion transactions between any merchant in our directory and their customer, we do take complaints regardig a merchant seriously. If you do not get a resolution to your issue you can email us a complaint about the vendor. If there is a severe infraction, we may consider evicting the store from our website mall.
